US strikes on Iran: IAEA calls emergency meeting tomorrow

VIENNA: The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has called an emergency meeting after the US attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

According to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi said on the social networking website X, formerly Twitter, that an emergency meeting has been called for tomorrow (Monday).

Earlier, in its statement, the International Atomic Energy Agency had said that the IAEA can confirm that there has been no increase in radiation after the attacks on three nuclear sites.

The agency further said that it will inform about the situation in Iran as soon as more information is received.
