US to reopen Jerusalem embassy today post-ceasefire


The United States (US) Mission in Israel announced early Wednesday that it will reopen its embassy in Jerusalem following a ceasefire between Israel and Iran.

JERUSALEM: The United States (US) Mission in Israel announced early Wednesday that it will reopen its embassy in Jerusalem following a ceasefire between Israel and Iran.

The Home Front Command lifted all restrictions, allowing the embassy to resume normal operations.

The US government employees and their families, however, remain under travel restrictions, limited to the greater Tel Aviv area.
