Yahya Sinwar: US denies involvement in Hamas leader’s death

WASHINGTON: The Pentagon denied any involvement of the United States (US) in the assassination of Hamas leader, Yahya Sinwar, by Israeli military on Thursday.

The Pentagon did acknowledge it facilitate Israel in gathering intelligence against Hamas’ leadership.

Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden reportedly spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu late on Thursday.

As per sources, the two leaders agreed that there was an ‘opportunity’ now to promote the release of the hostages ‘now’.
