WEB DESK: Hollywood heavyweights Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt reunited after 24 years at the London premiere of Pitt’s new Formula 1 film.
Cruise, who made a surprise appearance, shared a warm moment with his Interview with the Vampire co-star on the red carpet, a handshake and hug that delighted fans.
“Great night at the movies with my friends!! You guys crushed it!!” Tom Cruise wrote on Instagram on Monday, June 23, alongside photos with Pitt, F1 director Joseph Kosinski, and producer Jerry Bruckheimer, also behind Cruise’s Top Gun: Maverick.

Cruise and Pitt last shared the screen in the 1994 gothic drama based on Anne Rice’s novel. While they missed out on major award nominations, Kirsten Dunst, then a child star, earned a Golden Globe nod for her performance.
Despite the buzz, Pitt hinted another reunion with Cruise is unlikely, unless Cruise “does something again that’s on the ground,” he joked in a chat with E! News.
The red carpet appearance came as Pitt opened up about his personal journey in a candid interview on the Armchair Expert podcast. Reflecting on his time in Alcoholics Anonymous, he called it “incredible” and said it helped him reset after his divorce from Angelina Jolie.
“I was pretty much on my back, on my knees,” Pitt said, describing it as a tough chapter. “I needed rebooting.” He praised the group for its honesty and humour as men openly shared their struggles.
The F1 film marks Pitt’s major comeback role following the long-running legal and personal fallout from his high-profile split with Jolie, which finally began to quiet down late last year.
