This will be the first time Pakistan is hosting a T20 tri-series, marking a significant milestone for cricket in the country. The tournament will kick off with Pakistan facing Afghanistan in Rawalpindi on November 17, followed by the clash between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan on November 19 at the same venue.

Significantly, this series will also mark Afghanistan’s first-ever T20 International on Pakistani soil.

The tournament will then shift to Lahore, where the remaining five matches, including the grand finale, will be played at Gaddafi Stadium on November 29.

Describing the tri-series as a key step in Pakistan’s preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup, PCB Chief Operating Officer Sameer Ahmed Syed said, “This tri-series is a great opportunity to prepare for the T20 World Cup. Hosting quality teams like Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will give us competitive match experience in home conditions.”

The full match schedule and ticketing details are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
