Asia Cup 2025: PCB cancels press conference ahead of UAE match

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday denied participating in the pre-match press conference that would take place ahead of their third clash against UAE at Dubai Cricket Stadium.
Earlier, the international cricketing body (ICC) has also turned downed a complaint that the national cricketing body had lodged with them.

According to the complaint, the ICC match referee Andy Pycroft ‘had asked skipper of both India and Pakistan not to shake hands at the time of the toss,’ which was a clear violation of the rules pertaining to the match spirit.

Notably, the umpire had also made seven irresponsible mistakes on part of Pakistan during the India-Pakistan match that highly pressured Shaheens.
