WEB DESK: On Wednesday, dry and hot weather is forecasted to dominate much of the country, with temperatures remaining high across most regions. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts that heat will be particularly intense during the day, but the evening and night will bring some relief in the form of partly cloudy skies in certain areas.

In the flood-affected districts of Sindh and Punjab, the weather is expected to remain dry and hot throughout the week. Specifically, in Islamabad and its surrounding areas, residents can expect clear, hot conditions during the day, with partly cloudy skies settling in by evening.
Across Punjab, the hot and dry conditions will persist in most districts, though areas like Murree and Galiyat will see some clouds moving in during the evening, offering a slight reprieve from the heat.
In Sindh too, the heat will be unrelenting, especially in the inland areas. However, the coastal regions will see some relief, with the weather expected to remain partly cloudy.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will experience similar conditions, with hot and dry weather in the plains during the day. In the upper districts, though, some clouds are expected to develop later in the day, adding a bit of variation to the otherwise clear skies.
Balochistan will also face a hot and dry Wednesday, with the exception of the coastal areas, which will likely experience partly cloudy conditions.
In Kashmir, the weather will remain dry with partly cloudy skies expected throughout the day, offering some shade from the heat.

Finally, in Gilgit-Baltistan, dry and warm conditions will persist as well, though the weather will remain slightly cooler compared to the rest of the country, with only a few clouds expected to appear in the evening.
Overall, while the day will be hot and dry across much of the country, the evening brings some cloud cover that may offer a brief break from the relentless sun.
