LAHORE: Lahore residents are experiencing six hours of electricity load shedding despite the winter season, due to decline in electricity production.

According to Lahore News, power distribution companies have issued load-shedding schedules, mandating a daily 6-hour power outage.

The current power shortfall stands at 4,000 megawatts, primarily stemming from a 90 per cent reduction in electricity production due to water scarcity in rivers and power plant maintenance.
