Gold price further drops in Pakistan

KARACAHI: The fluctuations in gold prices continue, as gold became cheaper in the local market on the third day after a decline in the international bullion market.

Gold price dropped by Rs300 in the local market on Wednesday to settle at Rs216,100 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Gem and Jewellers Associ­ation.

In the global market, the price of gold per ounce fell by 3 dollars to reach the level of 2047 dollars.

In the local currency markets, the price of 24 carat gold per tola also fell by Rs300 to Rs216,100 and the price of 10 grams of gold also fell by Rs257 to Rs185,271.

Similarly, the price of silver per tola fell by Rs10 to Rs2,650 rupees and the price of 10 grams of silver also fell by Rs8.58 to Rs2271.94.
