Elections 2024: ECP reveals polling scheme for KP

PESHAWAR: In preparation for the upcoming general elections 2024 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has unveiled the polling scheme summary. A total of 15,697 polling stations are set to be established across the region, according to the ECP’s announcement.

Breaking down the numbers, there will be 4,810 polling stations designated for men and 4,289 for women in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Additionally, the Election Commission plans to set up 6,601 joint polling stations to facilitate a smooth electoral process on February 8.
A significant component of the polling infrastructure includes the establishment of 47,077 polling booths throughout the province. The comprehensive plan aims to ensure widespread accessibility and convenience for voters during the upcoming elections, reflecting the Election Commission’s commitment to conducting a fair and transparent electoral process in the region.
