Two dead, five injured in railway police clash with mall staff

MARDAN: A violent clash unfolded in Mardan early on Sunday, resulting in two fatalities and five injuries.

The confrontation took place between railway police personnel and officials from a local shopping mall, right outside the premises of Zaman Sons shopping mall.

Initial reports say that the exchange of gunfire claimed the lives of two individuals while inflicting serious injuries upon five others. Rescue 1122 rushed to the scene to provide aid and assistance to the affected individuals.

Latest reports suggest that both the deceased and the injured have been transported to Mardan Medical Complex (MMC) Hospital for urgent medical attention.
