ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial has summoned a meeting of Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) on August 2 to deliberate over the vacant post of Peshawar High Court (PHC) Chief Justice.
The seat has been lying vacant since the elevation of PHC CJ Chief Justice Musarrat Hilali to the Supreme Court.
After the elevation of Justice Musarrat Hilali , the senior puisne judge Justice Ibrahim has been discharging duties as the acting chief justice.
The meeting will consider appointment of Acting Chief Justice Mohammad Ibrahim Khan as CJ of PHC.
