Daytime temperatures to rise till Sept 26

ISLAMABAD: The daytime temperatures will experience a rise from today till next week due to the development of cyclonic low pressure over the Bay of Bengal.
According to senior meteorologist Sarfaraz Khan, day time temperatures will rise up to three to four degree Celsius during the period from September 19 till September 26.
There is a cyclone in the South China Sea which is heading towards SW over Bengal and the Bay of Bengal is disturbed with this cyclonic low pressure due to which the daytime temperatures will experience a rise.
This low pressure will reach the Arabian Sea in the coming days. There is a chance of heavy post-monsoonal rainfalls across the country after the 25th.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly hot and dry weather for most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.
However, rain-windstorm/thunderstorm is likely at isolated places in northeast Punjab and Kashmir.
As per synoptic situation, continental air prevailed over most parts of the country.
A well-marked low was lying over northeast Madhya Pradesh (India). Weak moist current from Bay of Bengal were penetrating northeast Punjab and Kashmir.
During the last 24 hours, hot and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country. Nokkundi and Sibbi remained the hottest places in the country on Wednesday with temperature surging up to 44 degrees Celsius.
