Congo virus claims life of 16-year-old in Quetta

QUETTA: A 16-year-old patient suffering from the Congo virus has died at Fatima Jinnah Hospital, hospital officials reported.
The patient was admitted in critical condition and received intensive treatment, but unfortunately succumbed to the illness.
This latest fatality raises the total number of Congo virus deaths in the province to nine this year. Hospital authorities have confirmed that 34 cases of the virus have been reported in Quetta and surrounding areas thus far.
