WEB DESK: A Dubai-based hiring firm, Marc Ellis, is set to revolutionise job interviews with its AI-driven recruitment platform.
Starting this December, candidates will face an ultra-realistic “virtual stage” interviewer, communicated through voice and proximity chat systems.
This innovative approach allows employers to create accounts, upload job descriptions for AI comprehension, and invite candidates for tailored pre-screening interviews. Candidates, from various devices, including VR headsets, upload their details and resumes.
The AI assesses candidates based on profiles and body language through webcams, streamlining the preliminary interview process.
Additionally, the platform offers simulated interviews with immediate feedback, helping candidates hone their skills. The AI-generated questions are graded instantly, aligning with job requirements.
This technology significantly reduces the time spent on interviews, allowing hiring managers to focus on other tasks.
According to research, hiring managers traditionally spend around four to five hours weekly on interviews, totaling nearly three days per month.

Other hiring agencies are also embracing AI, utilising chatbots powered by AI for initial interactions with candidates and employees.
Jaya Bhatia, CEO and Founder of Expert Hub Robotics, highlighted how robots can facilitate the recruitment process by welcoming applicants, discussing job openings, and scheduling interviews based on recruiters’ availability. This user-friendly experience enhances the overall recruitment process.
This development marks an exciting phase in the recruitment landscape, utilising AI to enhance efficiency, save time, and provide candidates with a more interactive and informative interview experience.
