FBR sets April 30 deadline for sellers to register

ISLAMABAD: In a statement released on Thursday, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has urged all unregistered wholesalers, retailers, dealers, and shopkeepers to register by April 30, 2024, under the Trader Friendly Scheme.
The FBR spokesperson clarified that already registered shopkeepers do not need to re-register for the Scheme.

The scheme is accessible to all retailers, including Tier-1 retailers, as stated by the spokesman.
Under the Scheme, income tax paid in monthly electricity bills can be adjusted at the time of payment.
