Gold price decreases by more than Rs1,000 per tola

WEB DESK: Gold prices in Pakistan saw a decline on Saturday, mirroring the global trend.

The precious metal was valued at Rs227,500 per tola, marking a decrease of Rs1,050 from the previous day’s rate.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price for 10 grammes of gold stood at Rs195,045 after dropping Rs900.

In contrast, silver rates remained unchanged at Rs2,600 per tola.

Comparatively, on Friday, gold rates remained steady at Rs228,550 per tola.

Internationally, the price of gold experienced a $13 decrease, resulting in a $20 premium, setting the rate at $2,175 per ounce, as reported by APGJSA.
