WEB DESK: In a notable market development, the price of 24-karat gold witnessed a significant uptick, rising by Rs1,000 per tola.
This surge propelled the per-tola cost to Rs215,100 on Saturday, marking a notable increase compared to the previous trading day’s sale at Rs214,100.
A similar trend was observed in the price of 10 grammes of 24-karat gold, which experienced an uptrend of Rs858, reaching Rs184,414 from its previous valuation of Rs183,556.
Concurrently, the prices of 22-karat gold also experienced an upward trajectory, with 10 grammes now priced at Rs169,046, up from Rs168,260, as reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
In contrast, the prices of silver maintained stability, with both per tola and ten-gramme silver holding firm at Rs2,570 and Rs2,203.36, respectively.
This constancy in silver prices stands in contrast to the dynamic shifts observed in the gold market.
Internationally, the price of gold recorded a noteworthy increase, climbing by $11 to reach $2,056, up from its previous valuation of $2,040.
This global surge in gold prices adds an additional layer of complexity to the market dynamics, with both local and international factors contributing to the fluctuations in precious metal valuations.
