Gold price declines by Rs400 per tola

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan saw a decline on Tuesday. The rate for 24-karat gold dropped to Rs252,300 per tola, a reduction of Rs400.
According to the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price for 24-karat gold per 10-gramme stood at Rs216,306, down by Rs344. The price for 22-karat gold also fell, now at Rs198,281 per 10-gramme.
In contrast, silver prices remained stable. The rate for 24-karat silver was Rs2,860 per tola and Rs2,452 per 10-gramme.
On the international market, spot gold was trading at approximately $2,389 per ounce, reflecting an increase of $8.10, or 0.34 per cent, from the previous session.
