Gold prices increase by Rs 1500 per tola

KARACHI: The price of gold in Pakistan has increased by Rs 1500 per tola in line with the global and local markets trends on Thursday.

The price of 24-carat gold per tola rose by Rs 1500 to Rs 231,000 and the price of gold per 10 grams rose by Rs 1285 to Rs 198,045.

Furthermore, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also saw surge to trade at Rs181,541.

The price of 24-karat silver is currently stable at Rs2,580.

In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce increased by 14 dollars to reach the level of $2,214.
