Gold rate declines for second consecutive day in Pakistan

KARACHI: The price of gold per tola in Pakistan experienced a notable decrease of Rs1800 on Thursday, settling at Rs218,200. This marks the second consecutive day of decline, following a Rs1300 reduction in gold prices on the preceding day.

Likewise, the cost of 10 grams of gold has also witnessed a decline of Rs1,543 bringing it to Rs187,071.

Separately, the stock market experienced significant volatility in the early hours of Tuesday, showcasing a dynamic start to the trading day. Wednesday also saw Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) posting a mix of gains and losses, eventually culminating into a positive end.
