Gold rates continue to climb in Pakistan

KARACHI: The gold rates in Pakistan continued its upward trend on Saturday moving the cost of 24-karat gold by Rs 1500 to Rs252,200 per tola.

Dealers reported a similar rise in the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold, which has gone up by Rs1286 to now trade at Rs216,221. Furthermore, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also showed a rise to trade at Rs198,202.

Inflation in Pakistan sees weekly decrease of 0.79 pc

The price of 24-karat silver is currently standing at Rs2,780. Internationally also, the gold price saw a price hike of $11, reaching $2,411 per ounce.
