LDA demolishes illegal properties in Johar town and nearby schemes

LAHORE: Following the directives of Commissioner Lahore and DG Lahore Development Authority (LDA), Muhammad Ali Randhawa, LDA teams took decisive action against unlawful constructions.

A total of 23 illegal constructions and commercial properties in Johar Town and nearby schemes were demolished and sealed in Lahore.

In a housing society on College Road, the ongoing illegal commercial construction on the first floor of Plot No. 30/1 Block A was dismantled, including an illegal commercial hall and shop.

Similarly, the illegal commercial basement construction in Sadat Town Plot No. 152 A Khaira Distribution was also demolished. In PIA society, the unauthorised construction of commercial shops on Plot No. 232 D was removed.

Additionally, illegal commercial constructions on Atchison Shan Bhatti Road and Raiwind Road were also taken down, along with illegal commercial shutters.

Moreover, enforcement measures extended to sealing illegal constructions on Plot No. 9C2, 372A2, and 185A2 in Johar Town.

Plot No. 29 K in Johar Town was sealed due to unauthorised construction and illegal commercial use on the second floor.

This operation was carried out by Director Town Planning Zone IV under the supervision of Chief Town Planner II Azhar Ali.
