MG Pakistan announces massive reduction in prices

KARACHI: MG Motor Pakistan has announced a massive reduction in prices for the MG HS PHEV from March 1, 2025, after it received an overwhelming response at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2024

Announcing the special price reduction, MG Motors on social media expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic response, stating, “Your incredible love and overwhelming feedback cannot be ignored. That’s why we are introducing a special advantage price, as MG always rewards its fans.”

According to MG Pakistan, the new “Advantage Price” will take effect from March 1, 2025. Previously priced at Rs. 9,899,000, the vehicle will now be available at Rs. 9,699,000, reflecting a Rs. 200,000 reduction.

It is also noteworthy that when MG initially announced the car’s official price, a discount of Rs. 400,000 was already offered.

FEATURES OF MG HS PHEV

The latest-generation MG HS PHEV is being locally assembled, making it competitively priced. This second-generation model offers several upgrades over the first-generation HS, previously available in Pakistan.

Competing with the Haval H6 HEV and Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid, the MG HS PHEV boasts advanced technology and an impressive fuel economy of 58 km/l. However, on Pakistani roads, this average is expected to be around 28-35 km/l, which remains highly efficient.
