Pakistan and Iran set to boost trade with livestock agreement

WEB DESK: Pakistan and Iran are planning to sign an agreement on livestock quarantine and plant protection. This agreement, called a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), was discussed during a meeting between the Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri-Moghaddam, and Rana Tanveer, Pakistan’s Minister for Industries and Production and Food Security.
The aim of this agreement is to strengthen the trade relationship between the two countries. According to details, Iran has shown interest in importing more meat, rice, and other agricultural products from Pakistan.
The Iranian Ambassador stressed the importance of closer cooperation between the two countries across all areas.
Minister Tanveer also highlighted the strong relationship between Pakistan and Iran and suggested that both countries can work together more closely, especially in the industrial sector.
