OGRA increases RLNG prices for May

OGRA RLNG price increase

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced an increase in the prices of Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) for the month of May, as reported by Express News.

According to the official notification issued by OGRA, the new RLNG price for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has been set at $12.72 per MMBTU. Meanwhile, the price for Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has been fixed at $12.06 per MMBTU.

It is noteworthy that in April, the RLNG price for SNGPL was $11.98 per MMBTU, while for SSGC, it was $11.33 per MMBTU. This increase reflects the changing dynamics in the global energy market and the subsequent adjustments required to meet the demand and supply equilibrium.

The revised prices are expected to impact various sectors dependent on RLNG, potentially leading to an increase in operational costs.
