WEB DESK: Indus Motor Company Limited (IMC) has announced the initiation of vehicle exports to various Toyota-affiliated companies. This development was shared in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday.

In the notice, IMC expressed its satisfaction with the new export venture, stating, “We are delighted to inform that Indus Motor Company Limited (IMC) has started exporting certain vehicles to other Toyota-affiliated companies.”

To mark this significant achievement, IMC will be hosting an export ceremony. The assembler and manufacturer of Toyota vehicles in Pakistan highlighted that this event not only represents a major step in expanding their business but also demonstrates their commitment to enhancing Pakistan’s international market presence.

According to Business Recorder, while the company acknowledged the milestone, it also noted that, at this early stage, the financial impact of this export activity is minimal. “The benefits to our overall business are currently negligible and immaterial,” the notice stated.

Despite the modest immediate impact, IMC remains optimistic about the future potential of this export initiative. “We are proud to undertake this pioneering step and hope it paves the way for further export opportunities from Pakistan. At this point, we consider this information to be immaterial,” the company added.

This move follows IMC’s previous export agreement with Toyota Egypt signed in July last year.
