Utility Stores’ operating hours extended nationwide

WEB DESK: In a move aimed at bolstering the implementation of the Ramazan Relief Package, the government has decided to extend working hours across Utility Stores nationwide.

Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has reportedly issued directives to extend operational hours, ensuring broader accessibility to the relief measures.

According to Dunya News, Utility Stores will now remain open until 10 pm.

The decision, communicated to all zonal and general managers, underscores the government’s commitment to efficiently disbursing relief provisions.

As part of the initiative, utility store employees will benefit from an additional allowance of Rs500 until Chand Raat, further incentivizing their participation in the extended operational hours.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, actively overseeing the implementation, conducted surprise visits to various utility stores in the federal capital.

During these inspections, he engaged with beneficiaries of the Ramazan Relief Package, seeking feedback and ensuring smooth accessibility to the provisions.

Expressing his dedication to facilitating deserving families, the prime minister highlighted the importance of seamless access to relief measures.

He directed authorities to address any potential hurdles faced by beneficiaries, underscoring the government’s unwavering commitment to their welfare.
