Fawad and Mahira reunite in Neelofar, releasing November 28

WEB DESK: The wait is finally over! Pakistan’s most adored on-screen duo, Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, are reuniting in Neelofar, one of the year’s most anticipated films, releasing worldwide on November 28.

“Jis mulaqat ka dil se intezaar hai, wo November 28 ko hogi,” Fawad teased while unveiling the film’s official poster — sending fans into a frenzy online.

Written and directed by Ammar Rasool, Neelofar promises a heartfelt and poetic story that explores love, empathy, and resilience. The film also marks Fawad Khan’s debut as Executive Producer, alongside Hassaan Khalid and Usaf Shariq.

Mahira Khan takes on the titular role of Neelofar, while the star-studded ensemble includes Madiha Imam, Sarwat Gilani, Atiqa Odho, Behrooz Sabzwari, Gohar Rasheed, and others.

With its rich storytelling and powerhouse cast, Neelofar is shaping up to be a cinematic moment fans won’t forget.

Fawad and Mahira appeared together as an on-screen couple in drama Humsafar, under the banner of Hum TV, which shot them both to fame especially in the neighbouring India. Both actors went on to be featured in lead roles of Bollywood with films like Khoobsurat, Raees, and Kapoor and Sons. Fawad also returned to win hearts of his India fans in Aabeer Gulaal which suffered immensely due to the escalation between Pakistan and India in May this year.
