20 terrorists killed in two separate intelligence-based operations: ISPR

PESHAWAR: Security forces killed 20 terrorists in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), eight Indian-backed Khawarij were killed during an Intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Shawal, North Waziristan.

The second IBO operation was carried out in Dera Adam Khel where 12 more terrorists were eliminated. Meanwhile, clearance and sanitization operations are ongoing to prevent any further attacks, according to ISPR.

The ISPR said that security forces continue to target terrorist networks to ensure the safety of local communities, using advanced intelligence and continuous monitoring.
