25-year-old student found dead inside Karachi University toilet

KARACHI: A student at the University of Karachi was found dead in a toilet on campus on Monday. The body was identified as 26-year-old Mukhtar, who was originally from Swat.

The deceased was a student of organix chemistry at the university’s  International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) department.

According to an ICCBS spokesperson, the student had gone to bathe at 9am in the morning, and his dead body was discovered at 6pm in the evening.

Mukhtar was a student in the university’s engineering department. According to Dr Salman Zafar, the university’s campus secretary, Mukhtar’s passing was due to natural causes.

However, the police are still investigating the matter to determine the exact cause of death.
