Ana de Armas opens up about bond with Keanu Reeves after Tom Cruise split

Ana de Armas has spoken about her close friendship with Keanu Reeves following her recent split from Tom Cruise.

The 37-year-old actress addressed her long-standing bond with the John Wick star during an interview at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia on Friday, December 5.

Reflecting on how they first met, de Armas recalled working with Reeves on the 2015 thriller Knock Knock shortly after she moved to Los Angeles.

“When I first moved to LA, we did Knock Knock together, and at that time I barely spoke English,” she said. “It was kind of a frustrating journey not being able to communicate fully, but we still had a great time. We bonded really well, and we have a beautiful friendship.”

The Blonde actress went on to describe Reeves as “incredibly kind and generous”, adding that he was among the first people to make her feel welcome in Hollywood.

“It felt full circle. Keanu and Chad Stahelski have built such a beautiful world with those films, and having him there, supporting me ten years later, meant a lot,” she added.

Her comments come weeks after reports claimed that de Armas and Tom Cruise quietly parted ways in October.

Several reports suggested that the relationship had come under strain in recent months, sparking speculation about the reasons behind the split.

Neither Cruise nor de Armas has publicly commented on the rumours surrounding their breakup.
