Anthony Naveed elected as Sindh Assembly Deputy Speaker

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MPA Anthony Naveed on Sunday was sworn in as the deputy speaker of the Sindh Assembly after a majority of the lawmakers voted for him.

Newly elected Speaker of Sindh Assembly Awais Qadir Shah took oath from Anthony Naveed, after he secured 111 votes.

MQM-P’s Advocate Rashid Khan got 36 votes.
