ISLAMABAD: The All Pakistan Petroleum Pumps Owners Association has strongly denied reports of a strike from May 1, saying there is no truth in claims about petrol pump closures.
The association clarified that all petrol pumps across the country will remain open as per routine and continue to provide uninterrupted supply of petroleum products to the public.
APPPOA Vice Chairman Nauman Ali Butt said that reports of a strike have no connection with the organisation and are purely baseless
He further stated that petrol pump owners do not support any strike and are committed to ensuring smooth fuel supply nationwide.
He also urged the public not to pay attention to rumours, stressing that petrol pumps are operating normally across the country.
