Arshad Nadeem reaches Islambad with family on special flight for ‘PM’s dinner’

ISLAMABAD: Star athlete Arshad Nadeem has arrived in Islamabad from Muultan with his family on a special flight to attend the dinner hosted by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s House.
While speaking to the media in Islamabad alongside Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar and his coach Salman Iqbal Butt, Arshad Nadeem said, “I am grateful to the Prime Minister for honouring me in such a way.”
The Olympic gold medalist remarked that their current success is the result of the foundation laid by Shehbaz Sharif in 2012.
He said that he was able to break the Olympic record thanks to everyone’s prayers and expressed his gratitude for the grand welcome he received upon his return.
Arshad added that government departments should support athletes. “My coach Salman Butt, took care of him as if he were his own child,” said Arshad.
On this occasion, Federal Minister for Information Atta Tarar stated that they are grateful to Arshad Nadeem for accepting the Prime Minister’s invitation.
He added that the entire nation is filled with pride, and Arshad Nadeem will proudly raise the Pakistani flag at all events on August 14.
Earlier today, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz visited the home of Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem. During the visit, she congratulated Nadeem on his gold medal victory and awarded him a cheque for Rs100 million in recognition of his outstanding achievement.
