Asia Cup 2023: Pakistan beat Nepal by 238 runs

MULTAN: The Pakistan team defeated Nepal 238 runs in the opening match of Asia Cup 2023 against Nepal, being held at the Multan Stadium.

It is Pakistan’s first highest-margin victory in ODIs. Pakistani team set a 343-run target for Nepal.

Babar Azam, and Iftikhar Ahmed’ century:

Pakistani skipper Babar Azam scored a century to become the first player to score 19 fastest centuries in 102 matches, breaking Hashim Amla’s record. In addition, Babar Azam has achieved the same number of international centuries as Pakistani cricket legends Javed Miandad and Saeed Anwar. Fans were thrilled to witness their favourite batter displaying their skills, in the opening match of the Continental Cup.

Iftikhar Ahmed scored his maiden ODI century.
