ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has denied Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s claim about PTI’s readiness to resign and dissolve the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly.
“There has been no discussion or decision with Maulana Fazlur Rehman on the matter,” said Gohar while talking to media.

Speaking to the media on Saturday, Rehman announced the formation of a committee headed by Kamran Murtaza to negotiate with PTI. Other members include Maulana Lutf Rehman, Fazl Ghafoor, Aslam Ghori, and Maulana Amjad.
Rehman emphasised that despite previous conflicts, JUI-F is prepared to mend relations with PTI. He underscored that PTI’s willingness to dissolve the K-P Assembly and resign from other assemblies is essential for ensuring transparent elections.
