Zil Hajj moon sighted, Eidul Adha will be celebrated on May 27

KARACHI: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee officially confirmation that the Zil Hajj moon was sighted on Sunday evening, meaning that the Eidul Adha will be celebrated on May 27.

The official announcement came from the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, though reports came from Quetta zonal committee couldn’t find the moon in the evening today.

The announcement came after religious scholars, meteorological experts, and zonal committee representatives gathered reports from different areas.
