Chicken price decrease further in Lahore

LAHORE: On Monday, chicken prices in Lahore decreased by an additional Rs7 per kilogramme, bringing the new cost to Rs555 per kilogramme.

The wholesale price of broiler chicken is now set at Rs369 per kilogramme, while the retail price is Rs383 per kilogramme. The cost of farm eggs remains steady at Rs301 per dozen.

According to the official price list, the price per kilogramme for various vegetables is as follows: onions are set at Rs145 potatoes at Rs85, tomatoes at Rs115, green chillies at Rs80, ginger at Rs580, local garlic at Rs380, and farm cucumbers at Rs100.

Additionally, the prices for other vegetables are fenugreek at Rs310 eggplant at Rs90 cauliflower at 120 rupees, turnips at 100 rupees, bell peppers at Rs165 rupees, local lemons at Rs550 per kilogramme, peas at Rs300 per kilogramme, bottle gourd at Rs65 per kilogramme, Chinese carrots at Rs80 per kilogramme, and bitter gourd at Rs95 per kilogramme.
