Sources said that Chief Justice Isa has recommended the name of Justice Irfan Saadat Khan, who currently serves as the Acting Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court, for the vacant seat on the Supreme Court.

The meeting underlines the responsibility of the Suprme Judicial Commission in nominating judges who possess the requisite qualifications, experience, and judicial temperament to serve on the bench of the highest court.
