Court accepts PTI chief’s exemption plea in Toshakhana case

Islamabad: A District and Sessions court on Saturday granted two-day exemption from appearance to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in Toshakhana case.

Additional Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar approved the plea in case filed by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) against former prime minister over concealment of gifts he received while in office.

Judge also accepted PTI Chairman’s counsel request for adjournment and directed the accused to appear before court after his scheduled hearing before Supreme Court on July 24 (Monday).
