Court grants post-arrest bail to Sanam Javed

LAHORE: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore Saturday granted post-arrest bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Sanam Javed in the case of arson and violence outrside Zaman Park.
According to the details, the case of arson outside Zaman Park was heard in the ATC Lahore against PTI activist where Judge Arshad Javed pronounced the verdict after the arguments of lawyers.
Sanam Javed identified in Askari Tower attack case
The court granted the bail of Sanam in exchange of Rs2,00,000 as surety bond after her arrest. A case has been registered against the accused by the Race course police station.
On the other hand, Sanam’s contempt petition against IG Punjab has been set for hearing in Lahore High Court (LHC) that Justice Ali Baqir Najafi will hear on December 04.

Previously, The ATC had issued an order for the release of Sanam Javed, Robina Jameel, Afshan Tariq, Ashma Shuja, Shah Bano, Faisal Akhtar, Qasim, Ali Hasan and Hussain Qadri in Jinnah House attack case but Punjab police re-arrested them shortly after their release from Kot Lakhpat Jail for alleged involvement in Askari Tower attack.
