Criscilla Anderson, the professional dancer and choreographer known for her Netflix reality series Country Ever After and her appearances on Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, has died at 44 after a long battle with colon cancer.

Anderson was first diagnosed in 2018 after experiencing severe abdominal pain while preparing for a dance event. She was initially treated for colitis, but an emergency colonoscopy later revealed a tumour, leading to stage three colon cancer and a surgery that removed two feet of her colon. Her health journey became a central part of Country Ever After, which followed her life with country singer Coffey Anderson.

Her ex-husband, country star Coffey Anderson, shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram after her passing, reflecting on their children, the life they built, and the strength she showed throughout her illness.

Criscilla and Coffey married in 2009 and welcomed three children together before later separating. Despite their split, they continued to co-parent closely during her cancer battle.

Alongside her work on television, Anderson was a respected figure in the dance world. She served as a guest choreographer on Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and worked with numerous performers throughout her career. She is remembered for her resilience, warmth and unwavering love for her family.
