Earthquake tremors felt in Swat, surrounding areas

ISLAMABAD: A 4.7 magnitude earthquake jolted parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) including Swat, on Saturday.

The earthquake’s depth was recorded at 89 kilometres with the epicentre located in the Hindu Kush mountain range.

No immediate reports of significant damage or casualties have been received, though authorities continue to assess the situation. Emergency services have urged residents to remain calm and vigilant in case of aftershocks.
