ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan army has condemned the killing of six innocent individuals, including five Chinese citizens, in the Shangla area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stating that “the entire nation stands in solidarity with our Chinese brethren.”
A suicide bomber rammed a vehicle laden with explosives into a vehicle carrying Chinese engineers, resulting in the death of six individuals, including five Chinese in the district Shangla, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In a statement, the army’s media wing, the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) said that the events in Gwadar, Turbat, and Bisham aim to destabilize the internal security situation of Pakistan.
The ISPR said that “these terrorist incidents are cowardly actions intended to destabilize the internal security situation, and security forces have foiled attacks in Gwadar and Turbat and PNS Siddique.
The ISPR stated that “the entire nation stands in solidarity with our Chinese brethren, and the nation condemns this cowardly action without discrimination. These elements are continuously being exposed as patrons of terrorism.”
The statement said that “there is a cognizant effort to create differences between Pakistan and its strategic allies, especially China, and some foreign elements are involved in promoting terrorism in Pakistan for their interests. Such vile actions against the armed forces cannot dampen our resolve.”
The ISPR said that “Pakistan is the only country that is confronting terrorism as a frontline state, and with China’s unwavering support, we will ensure that those involved in terrorism are held accountable. We will ensure that terrorists are brought to their appropriate end, and together we will prevail over adversity and evil.”
It should be noted that on March 20, security forces also foiled a terrorist attack in the Port Authority Colony in Gwadar, and in the counteraction, eight terrorists were killed while two soldiers embraced martyrdom.
