Miley Cyrus has sparked global curiosity after debuting a striking diamond ring at the Avatar: Fire and Ash premiere, where she appeared alongside longtime boyfriend Maxx Morando. Multiple outlets have since reported that the couple are engaged, sending fans searching for details about the singer’s new piece of jewellery.

Photos from the red carpet show Miley wearing a large cushion-cut diamond set in 14-karat gold. The ring is a bespoke Jacquie Aiche design, featuring a cushion-cut stone flush-set into a bold yellow gold band. The east-west orientation and domed, sculptural silhouette reflect one of the biggest jewellery trends of the moment, with experts noting its similarities to the chunky, modern styles recently chosen by Dua Lipa and other high-profile names.
Industry specialists believe the diamond is likely between four and five carats. Estimates vary widely depending on the stone’s clarity and whether it is natural or lab-grown. Blue Nile’s merchandising team values the ring between 300,000 and 450,000 USD. Reyne Hirsch, a former Antiques Roadshow appraiser, places the retail value slightly lower, at around 150,000 to 250,000 USD. The wide range is typical for large cushion-cut diamonds, as the final price depends heavily on the stone’s origin and grading.
Cyrus and Morando have kept their relationship relatively private, though they were first linked in late 2021 and quietly went public the following year. Miley has previously shared that they met on a blind date arranged by friends. The couple have not commented on wedding plans, and no further details about the engagement have been announced.
