In a post on image-sharing social media platform Instagram, Iron Eyes explained his decision. He said he made the initial claim based on information from a witness.

However, that witness later recanted their statement. Iron Eyes stated, “I made that statement in my pleading (in a time of absolute war) based on information from a witness who then recanted and said nothing happened that they could infer anything inappropriate from. Thus, I immediately withdrew the court filings.”

Iron Eyes also addressed his current relationship with Tokata. Tokata is now 21 years old and part of the band “Hundred in the Hand”, which includes Ezra Miller.

Iron Eyes expressed a desire to move forward and heal. He said, “We are doing our level best to move on, to reconcile, to heal while remaining supportive as a father; as long as Tokata’s good, we’re good.”

The initial charges were filed against “The Flash” star on June 2022. In his filings, Iron Eyes alleged that Miller exhibited “cult-like and psychologically manipulative, controlling behaviour” towards Tokata.

However, Tokata later defended Miller, saying the actor had “only provided loving support and invaluable protection.”

Iron Eyes acknowledged the challenges of living under public scrutiny. He wrote, “These are real people, living real lives and once you’re in that fire where there is no anonymity, there is no safe space for you to retreat.”
