PESHAWAR: A grand tribal jirga will meet in Peshawar tomorrow (Friday) on the invitation of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman.
Representatives of political parties and tribal elders have been invited to the gathering being held in the aftermath of the gruesome terror attack in Bajaur.
The participants would deliberate on the overall security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly the law and order situation in merged districts of the province.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leader and former KP government spokesperson Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has termed convening of the jirga by JUI-F chief “a drama.”
Holding KP Governor Ghulam Ali responsible for recent spike in terror attacks in the province, Saif said JUI-F supremo is behind massive corruption and not concerned about law and order in the province.
