Five killed, 15 injured as trailer collides with passenger coach in Tharparkar

THARPARKAR: At least five people were killed and 15 others injured when a trailer collided with a passenger coach in the Mithi-Badin area of Tharparkar on Thursday, police said.

The injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Mithi for medical treatment, where three of them were reported to be in critical condition, according to police.

Police said that the victims were returning to Nokot after attending a pilgrimage at Wachhra Pir when the accident occurred.

Earlier reports from local media had put the death toll at four, with five injured, after the trailer collided with a bus at Piloro stop.
