Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) warning that flight operations at Islamabad International Airport may face disruptions between May 8 and 10 due to operational reasons.

According to the notice issued by the aviation authority, both arrivals and departures at the airport could be affected during specified time periods over the three days.

The PAA said airlines operating flights to Islamabad had been instructed to carry additional holding fuel in view of the expected disruptions. Under the schedule mentioned in the NOTAM, flight operations may be affected on May 8 between 10:45am and 12:15pm. On May 9 and 10, disruptions are expected between 8pm and 9:15pm.

The aviation authority, however, did not specify the exact nature of the operational reasons behind the expected impact on flight schedules.
